Stone Creatures Materials Needed:
- Wax Paper
- Various Stones
- Colored Paints
- Glue
- Decorative items such as: feathers, glitter, googly eyes, fabric, pipe cleaners, and more
Stone Creatures Instructions:
Collect various stones with your child. Encourage him/her to paint them with different colored paints, and allow them to dry on wax paper.
Once the stones have dried, help your child glue a few of them together with white liquid glue.
After the stones have set, encourage him/her to decorate them with items such as feathers, fabric, pipe cleaners, and google eyes to make interesting stone creatures.
Monitor your child closely during this activity. Small items can pose a choking hazard. Always use non-toxic materials.
